About Me

I am a third-year Ph.D. student at KAUST in Saudi Arabia. I am part of Vision-CAIR group led by Pr. Mohamed Elhoseiny. My research is primarily focused on enhancing the foundation models with emerging abilities and properties.

Research Interests

• Safety Alignment (ongoing project): Align language models for harmlessness.
• Finetuning: Expand the knowledge base of foundation models with emerging properties while preserving the generalizability.
• Continual Learning in realistic scenarios: Dealing with large-scale data streams and unlabeled data in CL.
